1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember preferences, and provide information to site owners about how their sites are used.

2. Cookies we use

We use a minimal set of cookies on zbmediagroup.ca:

Essential cookies

These are required for core site functionality and cannot be disabled. They do not store any personal information.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with the Site. GA4 sets cookies that collect anonymised information about page views, session duration, device type, and referring source. We have enabled IP anonymisation. The cookies typically used are:

  • _ga — distinguishes unique users (expires after 2 years)
  • _ga_<container-id> — persists session state (expires after 2 years)

For more information, see Google's privacy policy.

Third-party cookies (when you interact with embedded services)

When you click "Book a call" we open Calendly, which sets its own cookies. We do not control these. See Calendly's privacy policy.

3. How to control cookies

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. The methods vary by browser:

You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Do not track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. We currently do not respond to DNT signals because there is no industry standard. We minimise tracking by enabling IP anonymisation and avoiding unnecessary third-party trackers.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
